There's a Monster in my Closet
Man I'm just posting like crazy. I hope I can keep this up. I did this one pretty quickly. I think there are a few things I'll change with the composition, but i'm pretty satisfied with the two characters. I think this would be scarier than having a real monster in the closet! :)

ReplyDeleteThis is HILARIOUS. Dude, poor little kid--I love that he has his cover pulled over his face. "OHHOHOOOHOHOHOHOOOOHHHMMMMMMMMHMMMM!" That's what he's saying. I love the burp spit stuff flying out of his mouth. Nice touch. Nice lighting details on the door frame and where the wall and ceiling meets above the night light. The texture in the "monster's" shirt is nice. Good job on the perspective. Also, VERY nice with the light coming in from the window. And the texture of carpet---man, just all of the textures are great! You're good at that.

ReplyDeleteBut you should put up some more finger DRAWRINGS! You've got some EXTREMELY good ones. And do a sketchbook update! If you don't do it, I'll take your sketchbook/newsprint hostage and make a post FOR you!
