Doing the Research

So I've recently purchased a sketchbook whose pages are thick enough to hold watercolor. It's the best thing since .... socks? Anyway, as an artist, it is important to do studies, researching for your projects. This increases your knowledge and understanding and therefore makes your artwork believable and beautiful. So here are some sketches. :)

    WOW. I love your reptile studies. That's my favorite page. Your watercolors are so beautiful. You are really good with colors. AND I adore the mouths. A LOT.

    I have been watching your blog every day for almost a month waiting for this day to come!!! Yay!! (Yeah I'm probably a few days late) I love the water colors! Its cool to see the artistic process work its way out into the finished projects. Your water colors are amazing, they jump right off the pages! I especially love the big jungle cats, more of them please! Keep up the astounding work!
